2026 QUMS members - and their invited guests - are cordially invited to our annual Academic Dinner.
There will be food. There will be drinks. There will be toasts. There will be awards. And since we are a choir (hopefully this doesn't come as a surprise!), there will be some singing involved. You may familiarise yourself with the songs here.
What to Expect: a two-course dinner, toasts, awards, and, of course, singing to close out a wonderful 2026. Cash bar available with beer, wine, softdrinks (payment via cash or EFTPOS). We usually carry on somewhere fun afterwards, to be confirmed closer to the date - karaoke anyone?
Dress code: Formal. Please don't feel obliged to buy anything new though. If you are unsure what to wear, please talk to your section leader and we may be able to help you find an outfit to borrow for the night.
Transport: Please note that unfortunately Ovolo are unable to offer on-site conference & event parking. Alternate Paid Secure parking is available at Valley Metro Secure Car Park (52 Alfred Street), Ann Street Secure Car Park (1024 Ann Street) and Wilson Parking (949 Ann Street). There may be street parking around the vicinity. The venue is also not too far of a walk from the Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations.
